Following the weapons investigation that took place on Sixth Avenue (between Cedar Street North and Pine Street North), the Timmins Police Service has made several arrests in connection with the incident.
As a result of the investigation, the following individuals have been arrested and charged:
- Davin SUTHERLAND, 24, of Cochrane, has been charged with:
- Unauthorized possession of a firearm
- Unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm
- Careless storage of a firearm, weapon, prohibited device, or ammunition
- Carrying a concealed weapon
- Possession of a loaded prohibited or restricted firearm
- Knowledge of unauthorized possession of a firearm
- Possession of a Schedule I substance – cocaine
- Kayleen ALISAPPI, 18, of Timmins, has been charged with:
- Knowledge of unauthorized possession of a firearm
- Joshua TAYLOR, 26, of Timmins, has been charged with:
- Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000
