The Timmins Police Service has charged two individuals that were involved in break and enter incidents in the downtown core. The suspects were apprehended on Friday and remain in custody.
Both individuals have been arrested and charged as follows:
John George WESLEY, 30, of Timmins, has been charged with:
- Adult Possession Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
- Adult Possession Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000
- Two counts of Adult Break, Enter a Place
WESLEY is accused of breaking into two businesses in the downtown core. He is currently in custody and has been remanded to appear in court on December 18th.
Gerald MORRISSETTE, 45, of Timmins, has been charged with:
- Adult Possession Break-In Instruments
MORRISSETTE was apprehended while attempting to break into a building in the downtown area. He remains in custody and is scheduled for a bail hearing today.
