Officers conducted a thorough search of the area. After an extensive investigation, no person with a firearm was located, and no evidence of a threat was found.
As a result, the area has been declared safe, and the lockdown has been lifted. Both the Timmins Library and the CMHA office have resumed normal operations and are now open to the public.
