The Timmins Police Service’s Drug Enforcement Unit, along with the assistance of the Nishnawbe Aski Police Service Northeast Drug Enforcement Unit executed a search warrant early in the afternoon of September 4, 2024, at a residence on Maple Street South. As a result of the search, police seized a significant quantity of drugs, including:
- Approximately 2,225 methamphetamine tablets
- 132g of cocaine
- 705.4g of crystal methamphetamine
- 132.9g of psilocybin mushrooms
The total estimated street value of the drugs seized is $89,939.00.
As a result of the investigation, Adam CHIRCOSKI, 40, of Timmins, has been charged with the following offenses:
- Adult Trafficking in Schedule I Substance – Methamphetamines (Crystal Meth)
- Adult Possession of Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine
- Adult Possession of Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
- Possession of Schedule III Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
- Adult Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000
CHIRCOSKI remains in custody and is scheduled to appear for a bail hearing on September 9th, 2024.
