
The Timmins Police Service has arrested a suspect in connection with a robbery that occurred on March 14, 2025, in the 500 block of Algonquin Boulevard East.
At approximately 2:52AM, the complainant contacted police after being confronted by an individual who brandished a knife and demanded consumable goods. Following the incident, the accused fled the scene, and the complainant immediately contacted police, providing a description and the suspect’s direction of travel.
Timmins Police officers responded promptly and located the accused in a nearby parking lot, where he was taken into custody without incident. Further investigation has determined that the accused is also responsible for two other robbery occurrences.
The accused, Jerome FIREMAN, 18, of Timmins, has been charged with the following offences:
- Three counts of Adult Robbery with Weapon
- Adult Theft Under $5000 – Shoplifting
- Four counts of Adult Possession Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
- Three counts of Adult Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
- Adult Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Opioid
- Adult Failure to Comply with Undertaking
FIREMAN is scheduled to appear for a bail hearing today, March 14, 2025.
