
The Timmins Police Service has arrested and charged an individual in connection with a recent vehicle break-in and theft.
On February 27th, 2025 at approximately 11:48PM, during a routine patrol, an officer observed a suspicious person breaking into a vehicle. The suspect attempted to flee the scene on foot but was quickly located and taken into custody by responding officers.
As a result of the investigation, Ryan STONEY, 36, has been charged with the following offenses:
- Adult Mischief Under $5,000
- Adult Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
- Adult Possession of Break-In Instruments
- Adult Obstruct Peace Officer
- Two Counts of Adult Fail to Comply with Probation Order
- Adult Theft Under $5,000
STONEY remains in custody and the next scheduled court session is on Friday March 7th, 2025.
