
(TIMMINS) – During the early morning hours of April 2, 2025, the Timmins Police Service responded to multiple calls regarding a male who had sustained injuries from an edged weapon following a confrontation in the Rea Street North area.
Timmins Police Service officers, along with Emergency Medical Services (EMS), attended the scene, where the victim was located and transported to the hospital for treatment of serious injuries. The scene was secured, and an investigation was immediately launched.
Shortly after, officers located and arrested a suspect in connection with the incident.
As a result of the investigation, Jaden CLARK, 22, of Timmins, has been charged with the following offenses:
- Attempt to Commit Murder
- Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
- Failure to Comply with a Probation Order
- Carrying a Concealed Weapon
- Aggravated Assault
- Uttering Threats – Cause Death or Bodily Harm
The Timmins Police Service’s Criminal Investigations Division continues to investigate this incident and is seeking additional video footage from the public. Residents in the Rea Street North near Algonquin Blvd West as well as Mountjoy Street South near Second Avenuearea who may have surveillance or dashcam footage from approximately 230am to 315am on April 2, 2025, are asked to submit their footage via the following portal: https://timminspolice.ca.evidence.com/axon/community-request/public/ti25006353
Jaden CLARK remains in police custody and is scheduled to appear in court via video remand on Friday, April 4, 2025.
