
The Timmins Police Service is providing an update in relation to the weapons occurrence that took place on January 11, 2026, in the area of Dwyer Avenue.
As part of the ongoing investigation, the Timmins Police Service Criminal Investigation Division was engaged to assist patrol officers. A warrant to search a residence was subsequently obtained, and the search was executed at approximately 7:30 p.m.
As a result of the search, officers located and seized the following items:
- One loaded pistol
- A large quantity of suspected controlled substances, including fentanyl, crystal methamphetamine, and cocaine
- Large quantities of bundled Canadian currency, estimated to exceed $25,000
- One Conducted Energy Weapon (CEW)
The controlled substances and currency are still being processed, and an exact monetary value have not yet been determined. The total weight amounts are as follows:
- Fentanyl: 218.10 grams
- Cocaine: 67.7 grams
- Crystal Methamphetamine 276.3 grams
- 74.5 unknown white pills
As a result of the investigation, Marie-Clemence NADEAU, 35, of Timmins has been charged with the following:
- Careless Storage of Firearm
- Careless Storage of Ammunition
- Pointing a Firearm
- Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
- Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited Firearm
- Possession of a Loaded Prohibited Firearm
- Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
- Careless Use of of a Firearm
- Discharge Firearm While Being Reckless as to the Life of or Safety of Another Person
- Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited Weapon
- Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited Device
- Possession of Schedule 1 Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
- Possession of Schedule 1 Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
- Possession of Schedule 1 Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
- Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000
- Possession of a Firearm Contrary to Prohibition Order
- Possession of a Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order
- Possession of a Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order
- Fail to Comply with Probation
- Fail to Comply with Probation

The accused is scheduled to attend a bail hearing later today, January 12, 2026.
