The Timmins Police Service has concluded its search of the Carrigan Road residence in relation to the 911 call on Saturday March 23rd 2024.
Eight individuals were originally taken into custody on the 23rd. Two individuals were released later on that evening and given court dates to answer to their charges and the other 6 were held in custody pending bail hearings.
Searches in relation to this incident resulted in the following seizures;
– 1004 grams of cocaine
– 23 grams of fentanyl
– 94 grams of crystal methamphetamine
– 2200 methamphetamine tablets
The total street value of the drugs seized is a little over $120, 000.
The searches also resulted in the seizure of;
– Three 9 mm handguns
– Ammunition
– 2 tasers
The individuals that were arrested face the following charges under the Criminal Code of Canada;
Terry VAILLANCOURT (47 years old) of Timmins, Greg THRONES 62 years old) of Timmins, Raine INISHINAPAY (27 years old) of Timmins, Deven CHE (21 years old) of Toronto, Matthew DIGIANDOMENICO (21 years of age) of Toronto are jointly charged with Conspiracy to Commit Murder, Assault with a Weapon, Aggravated Assault, Assault, Administering a Noxious Substance, Forcible Confinement, Numerous weapons related charges and several breaches of release orders and probation orders
Terry VAILANCOURT and Greg THRONES are also jointly charged with Kidnapping. Tiza MUTSWAIRO (46 years old) of Timmins has been charged with Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm, 2 counts of Breach of Probation and 1 count of Breach of Recognizance. Jacob FORTIN (27 years old) of Timmins has been charged with Possession of a Prohibited Device and Possession of a Firearm or Ammunition contrary to a Prohibition Order. FORTIN was released on the 23rd of March and given a court date. John LAVERGNE (63 years old) of Timmins has been charged with Possession of a Prohibited Device or Ammunition and Operation while Prohibited. LAVERNE was released on the 23rd of March and given a court date.
A total of 18 criminal charges have been laid in relation to this incident so far. The Criminal Investigations Section is still actively working on the incident and further charges are to be sworn to in court.
